For people who plan their own trips

Book it yourself. Keep the commission.

You already do the research, compare the cabins and make the call. When you book direct, the travel agent commission stays with the supplier. DIY Travel Agent gives you what you need to book as the agent, so the commission on eligible bookings comes back to you. Same trip, same price.

How it works

You do the trip. Now do the booking.

Nothing changes about how you travel. You just book through the travel agent line instead of the public one.

Step 1

Get the toolkit

One $19.99 payment for lifetime access to the member portal: 148 suppliers with agent phone numbers, your booking credentials, a booking log and how-to guides.

Step 2

Call the agent line

Look up the supplier, call its travel agent number, say you're a sub-agent and give the booking credentials. Same ship, same room, same fare.

Step 3

Collect the commission

When the supplier pays commission on your eligible booking, your share comes back to you. Track each one in your booking log.

Measure it

What you're leaving with the supplier

Set the sliders to how you travel. Members earn 8% on suppliers that pay 10% or more; other suppliers pay their own rate. Figures are examples.

Commission is paid on the commissionable fare, which usually excludes taxes, port fees and some extras. Suppliers set their own rules and timing.

Questions

Before you pick up the phone

Will my trip cost more?

No. The fare is the same. The commission is paid by the supplier out of the price you were already paying.

What do I get for $19.99?

Lifetime access to the member portal: the supplier list with travel agent phone numbers, the booking credentials you give when you call, 8% commission on suppliers that pay 10% or more, an online booking log, and guides on booking as an agent, moving existing bookings and qualifying for FAM trips. One payment, no renewals.

Do I need travel industry experience?

No. You call the supplier's agent line and book the trip you were going to book anyway. The portal walks you through it.

Can I get commission on trips I've already booked?

Sometimes. Many suppliers let a direct booking move to an agency before final payment. Rules vary, so check with the supplier first. The portal has a guide.

Does every supplier pay commission on my own travel?

No. Some limit or don't pay commission on an agent's personal travel. The portal shows the rate for each supplier, and booking for family and friends is where commission is most consistently paid.

How do I sign in after I pay?

After checkout you get an access code on screen. Sign in with your checkout email and that code on any device.
